The Devil Is a Part-Timer! (Japanese: はたらく魔王さま!, Hepburn: Hataraku Maō-sama!, lit. "Working Demon King!" or "Devil Lord at Work!") is a Japanese light original series composed by Satoshi Wagahara, with representations by Oniku (composed as 029). ASCII Media Works has distributed the series in Japan, while Yen Press has distributed the series in North America.
The story is about Satan trying to overcome the universe of Ente Isla, however when gone up against by the Hero Emilia, he is compelled to withdraw through a door that transports him to current Tokyo, Japan. To get by and figure out how to get back to Ente Isla, Satan embraces the name Sadao Maou and gains low maintenance work at a drive-thru eatery called Mgronald's, a farce of Mcdonald's. There have been two manga variations distributed by ASCII Media Works in Dengeki Daioh and Dengeki Maoh. A 13-episode anime variation created by White Fox and coordinated by Naoto Hosoda circulated among April and June 2013. A subsequent season created by 3Hz and coordinated by Daisuke Tsukushi will debut in July 2022.
PLOT
The Demon Lord Satan tries to overcome the universe of Ente Isla by attaching its four mainlands with the assistance of his devil officers Alciel, Lucifer, Malacoda, and Adramelech. Subsequent to being faced by the saint Emilia and her sidekicks, after they had killed Malacoda and Adramelech, Satan and Alciel get away from the universe of Ente Isla through an entryway to present day Tokyo, Japan. Nonetheless, because of the absence of wizardry in the cutting edge contemporary world, both Satan and Alciel change into structures addressing what they would resemble assuming that they were human.
