In the wake of withdrawing outside the adolescent detainment community, Fushiguro sees the passing of the unique grade reviled soul. Sukuna shows up and holds Yuji prisoner by tearing his heart out, accepting Yuji would not be so wild as to attempt to dominate. They battle for strength however even with the assistance of his shikigami Megumi is overwhelmed. Megumi concedes that he was childish to save Yuji and that his will to save individuals that can't be saved came from a longing to "help individuals inconsistent" in the wake of seeing his sister fall into a state of extreme lethargy from a reviled soul. Yuji arises, yet rapidly bites the dust from blood misfortune. While in grieving, he and Nobara experience second-years Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda (a human panda) who illuminate them that they will be occurring in the Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event together. In the mean time, reviled spirits Dagon, Jogo, and Hanami meet with Geto, a human, plotting to get Yuji and Satoru on their side. While his body is analyzed by specialist Shoko Ieiri, an alive Yuji awakens in Sukuna's area.
